Production Worker
King Cole Ducks is the only fully vertically integrated farm of its kind in North America. Our duck products are sold fresh and local to our community, as well as distributed globally.

Job Summary
The primary function of Production Worker covers various jobs and responsibilities in our processing plant. Food Safety and Animal Welfare is our main priority and you will be a key stakeholder to ensure all protocols are followed. The various jobs require you to be active, always thinking and being a team player alongside your colleagues. This role will report directly to the plant supervisory team.
Key Responsibilities
- Various duties on the production line
- Machine operator
- Cutting up and deboning poultry product
- Packaging (bagging and boxing product)
- Weigh scale operator
- Box making
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- No experience is needed, we will provide the training
- Team player
- Able to lift up to 25lbs; on your feet moving around all day long
Shift Information * Monday – Friday, No Weekends
- Start Time: 6:30 AM (Depending on position in plant)
- End Time: 4:30 PM (Will vary slightly based on production)
* Working conditions: cool environment, wet, and working with raw poultry products*
Must have own means of transportation, no public transportation near the area.

General Farm Labourer

Our busy poultry company is currently looking for energetic and dedicated team players to join our growing family poultry-farming business. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring a warm and safe home for our ducks. We will provide training and protective wear to the right people who can demonstrate motivation and a willingness to learn. This role has General Farm Responsibilities which includes:
- General farming
- Moving ducklings through their life cycle from pen to pen
- Adding clean bedding (shavings) to pens on a regular basis
- Picking eggs
- Washing & disinfecting of barns or other department locations
- Working at the feather plant
- Operating Company machinery when required (training will be provided if needed)
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- No experience needed
- Previous farm experience is an asset
- Team player
- Ability to lift heavy weight
- Attention to detail & ability to follow instructions
Work environment: Dust and feather allergens in the work environment
Schedule: Approx: 6:00 am- 3:00pm Mon- Fri with occasional weekends.
