 Farm Fresh Store Part-time/Weekend Position

King Cole Ducks is the only fully vertically integrated farm of its kind in North America. Our duck products are sold fresh and local to our community, as well as distributed globally.

Job Summary

Are you friendly, reliable, and customer-focused? We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our Farm Fresh Store team!

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers with purchases.
  • Operate the cash register and handle transactions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store.
  • Stock shelves and monitor inventory.
  • Provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • Availability on weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous retail experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications:

  • No experience is needed, we will provide the training
  • Team player
  • Able to lift up to 30lbs; on your feet moving around

Shift Information * Monday – Friday, No Weekends

  • Start Time: 8:45 AM
  • End Time: 5:15 PM 

Must have own means of transportation, no public transportation near the area.

General Farm Labourer 

King Cole Ducks is the only fully vertically integrated farm of its kind in North America. Our duck products are sold fresh and local to our community, as well as distributed globally.

The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring a warm and safe home for our ducks. We will provide training and protective wear to the right people who can demonstrate motivation and a willingness to learn. The Role
 Adding clean bedding (shavings) to pens on a daily basis
 Washing and disinfecting of barns
 Collection of eggs, loading & delivery of the hatchery
 Operating Company machinery (training will be provided if needed)
 General farming
 Other duties as assigned
The Candidate
 Previous farm experience is an asset but not mandatory
 Detail oriented
 Team player
 Able to lift 25 lbs., on your feet and moving around all day

Benefits: After probation period
Location: King Cole Ducks Ltd – Stouffville, ON
Hours: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (May vary slightly based on production)
Shift: Days (Monday – Friday, with occasional weekends)

* Work environment: Dust and feather allergens in the work environment
* Must have own means of transportation, no public transport near the area

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Based on experience
